some are doing tai chi following the slow music– with the white clothes they look like some white butterflies. Maybe, many of them are not familiar with each other, but music and dancing bring them together. On the wayside, some young people are jogging, and some middle-aged are taking a morning walk. Every time they run by or walk along, they will say ―hi‖ to others with smile. I know that they are strangers. But the monring greeting and smile link them together None is isolated in Dongguan. This beautiful park supplies an occasion for Dongguan people to keep in touch with each other. How harmonious it is! Rediscover Dongguan Dongguan is a fantastic city with miracles. It keeps changing a lot, and you can never predict which side it will change to be. A few years ago, when I was pretty young, I thought there was no difference between Dongguan and my hometown — they were both small countries. Not like Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong province, and Shenzhen, a prosperous city in trade, Dongguan was quite unknown at that time. Today, however, we have to view it with a new vision. Walking down the street in Dongguan now, we can see a series of modern high-rises, which supplies comfortable residences and workplaces for us. A bunch of public facilities enrich our daily life – every weekend, I’d like to stay in the library! Look! The well-arranged system of transportation and spacious avenues and highways make our life more convenient. People prefer to take a bus rather than drive in Dongguan, by which our environment will become better and better and the air more fresh. This is a brand new Dongguan. Everyone who lives here is proud of it and tries best to make it better. And this cohesion will bring up the charm of Dongguan! Rediscover Dongguan Televion seemed to be the only entertainment during my summer vocation before. However, something’s changed in recent years. Besides the widely use of computer and Internet, Dongguan make some difference on building spiritual civilization for people. The most helpful step, in my opinion, is the extending of Dongguan Library, which links all the libraries in Dongguan together, so that people are able to read more kinds of books. They also set a special reading room for children. In it, there are many comic books from different countries and more comfortable seats which are just for kids. So, it’s a good idea to spend the whole afternoon in the library. In addition, anime culture is widespread in Dongguan. Every year, a big Comic-Con is showed in the exhibition center of Dongguan. I love it very much. I can see the cosplay show. People dress entirely the same as the comic characters. Also, I can ask my parents to buy some comic books or toys there. It’s so great! My summer vocation is not boring any more. The changing and developing Dongguan bring us more fun and wonderful choices.
